About me

My passion for photography started when I took a class in college back in the 90's.  It helped me grasp the basic concepts such as light, depth of field and composition through a series of assignments shooting black and white film.  I had to develop and print my own work in the dark room, something that's becoming a lost art.  I then got to shoot sports photos for my university while studying bioengineering.

Why sports photography and not studio? I am the proud father of 4 kids and they cannot stay still! Over the years, they have been involved in many activities including football, gymnastics and dirt bike riding so it gives me lots of camera time shooting them and their friends.
