My passion for photography and the visual arts started when I took a class in college back in the 90's. It helped me grasp the basic concepts through a series of assignments shooting black and white film. I had to develop and print my own work in the dark room, something that's becoming a lost art. While studying bioengineering I got to shoot sports photos for my university and loved the challenge, especially with subpar equipment and low light environments.
Over the years I’ve had many opportunities to shoot in various conditions, both indoors and outdoors, low light, under the rain or in the cold of winter. Running through the forest to get in position before runners show up, laying down in front of weight lifters that could drop the bar my way, racing a dirt bike with my camera dangling by my side, standing in water chest deep while trying to keep my equipment dry as windsurfers zoom by or standing next to the mosh pit to shoot a band. The more extreme the better!
Audio arts
As a musician, I was always looking for a better solution when it came to my sound. The perfect mic for the situation, the perfect placement. The perfect EQ to capture our band’s perfect sound (ok I might be overselling it, my bandmates and I are nowhere near perfect, but we enjoy playing together).
In that quest for perfection I ended up with all of the gear and knowledge required to capture, record, amplify and playback voice and musical instruments.
My Electrical Engineering degree enables me to bridge technical theory and audio production, allowing me to build specialized hardware like amplifiers, EQ filters, and MIDI controllers tailored to my creative needs.

Certified drone operator and licensed private pilot, I bring an uncompromising commitment to safety, professionalism, and regulatory compliance to every flight.
With a track record of hundreds of successful flights, I am fully proficient in both Line of Sight (LOS) and First-Person View (FPV) operations. I currently operate lightweight, high-performance DJI systems, strictly adhering to all Transport Canada drone safety regulations. Because my aviation credentials and PPL are on the line, I maintain the highest standards of risk management ensuring that every operation is legally compliant, meticulously planned, and executed with absolute precision.
